Start with a guided pilot

Run NGChess with one real class for 30 days and decide from evidence rather than a feature list.

What the pilot includes

  • 30 days, with up to 30 students in the class.
  • No credit card, and no obligation to buy anything afterwards.
  • Guided setup: we help you create the class, invite students and assign the first activities.
  • A public program page for your club, with registration and waitlist requests arriving in your dashboard.
  • Students join with a class code and an alias — no student email address, no student password.
  • Assign puzzles with due dates and see, per student, what is not started, attempted or solved.
  • A tactics trainer that brings each student's missed motifs back until they stick.

Before the pilot begins we will explain the options and the expected cost if you decide to continue, so nothing about the end of the pilot is a surprise.

There is an optional paid upgrade for unlimited daily play and every computer level. Its price, what it changes, and how to cancel are shown once you are signed in, under Account → Plan, next to your current billing state.

Students in a class

If you are a student joining a class, there is nothing to buy and nothing to sign up for. Your teacher gives you a class code. Join a class.
